With a golf teaching pedigree that embraces 4 decades John Croskery is well equipped to teach golfers of all levels. His strength lies in examining and analyzing his students swings and then identifying the problems. His success as a golf teacher coupled with his background in the golf industry combine to make him a first class golf instructor. His knowledge is extensive and his deliverance low key.
For 9 years John was associated with renowned Australian professional, Alex Mercer conducting high performance coaching schools for Auckland Golf Association, Auckland Ladies Golf Association, New Zealand Golf Association and New Zealand Ladies Golf Union (now Womens Golf New Zealand). He constantly keeps updated with the latest coaching techniques and attends Australian coaching seminars regularly.
In the New Zealand golfing scene John was Head Professional at The Grange Golf Club for 18 years and Head Professional at Remuera Golf Club for 6 years. In 1991 he was founding director of Golf Today, a 9 hole golfing complex in Auckland which included a driving range and retail outlet. Today John teaches at Golf Warehouse (formerly Golf Today) in the centrefield Ellerslie Golf Course. A member of the New Zealand Professional Golf Association for 42 years John holds a AAA membership.
Arguably one of New Zealand’s best golf instructors John is experienced at international, national, club and beginner level.
